If you disagree with the appraisal of your property and wish to appeal:
• Within 90 days after the date of a notice of reassessment, the property owner or agent must file a written objection. The address: 2020 Hampton St., P.O. Box 192, Columbia, SC 20202
• The assessor will conduct a field review and notify the property owner of the results.
• Within 30 days of further objection, the property owner will be asked to provide additional data to determine the value of the property.
• Final appeals are handled by the Richland County Board of Assessment Appeals.
